Minor bug: the render display shows 60/0 MB memory used even though the device manager detects my total memory correctly
so does a propper model render fine now ?

Radiance
As far as I can tell, yes. I'll keep testing. Thanks for looking into this.

I can confirm that the registry fix, i.e., adding the single key=TdrLevel, value=0 to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers allows the pathtracing kernel to work properly for both 1.021 and 1.022 on my laptop with 8600M GT and driver 197.16. You can check that one off your list.

I redownload the Linux version after Octane kept crashing for no reason, and now I can get the command line arguments from --help flag.

seems to work here, can anyone else confirm ?

Unfortunately I just noticed the same thing.... my bump map has no influence at all....

Radiance, I'm testing on the scene I sent you and indeed there is no bump at all after inserting the map file...

we will be adding these to the beta 2.2 installers so in the future they will be always set automatically.

i'm off to bed guys, worked 14 hours on this today.
need to sleep some times...

in the morning i'll reply to the 200 other problems reported here ;)
we rewrote practically 30% of the renderer for this update so i'm sure there will be much more issues.

In the previous version worked correctly, but now, when load a obj exported from blender, if I have enabled <useSuppliedVertexNormals>, objects with smooth option enabled appear black.
Disabled works well.

I have also seen that when you import a obj soon as you open octane, it occurs to me the stripes like afecelis snapshot, although after change from the initial direct ligth to pathtracing is fixed.
ok, noted, i will investigate.

it's best to enable exporting of normals in blender with the HQ option too.

Radiance
Obj exported from Blender appeared to be black when smooth boolean is enabled, but obj exported from other software doesn't have that problem so far.

Also when I tried to render a big obj file ~365 mb , Octane's scene navigation doesn't respond at all, but Octane itself is not freezing.

yeap. Redownload it solved it for me. Anyway thanks for the update, and looking forward for the fixes in the coming weeks.
