yes, there will be a linux version.
however we don't have a multi-gpu linux system so we can't guarantee if it will work correctly, it's a release candidate after all we're releasing tomorrow, not the final one.
We'll try testing it at Cubix with Linux. See if we can get 10 GPUs running Octane Render on one workstation like we did last week. ;)

whoa.... 10 gpus? what mobo did you guys use? Don't tell us that all the gpus are gtx 4XX ...? Wonder what power supply did you use with that...

whoa.... 10 gpus? what mobo did you guys use? Don't tell us that all the gpus are gtx 4XX ...? Wonder what power supply did you use with that...
4 of the "GPU-X" units attached to one Supermicro motherboard (2 of the graphics cards were Quadro FX 5800 with 2 GPUs each) featuring the Intel 5500 chipset. And there was at least 1 slot left over, so maybe I'll shoot for 11-12 next time...

I'll let Radiance make the announcement regarding the GPU-X products, what they are and how to get more info.

I'll test 10 x GTX 470 or 480 cards simultaneously on one motherboard at some point soon. This could be one heck of a rendering cannon...umm, I meant to say rendering solution! :D
