I don't know why it didn't find it but nevermind Jimstar, I will go back to other distro (DreamStudio) cause 13.04 Ubuntu run blender on turtle-speed.

Maybe because 13.10 use xmir. Anyway testing/using a beta sw on a beta os is i real "fun"

I frequently got a few types of error :

b) hmmm can't remember how it goes... it was something like "Octane network error"

My ideas : It usually happens when I don't let the PC alone but I 1)Run a torrent client (deluge) and 2)Surf the net or watch youtube videos.

Could it be that my bandwidth is full and OctaneServer can't verify my connection for activision?
I don't recall render being stuck while I was working on windows, please don't make me go back to windows!

Got any ideas?
