Hi,
I'm working on a semi-personal project of a small winery.
I would like to ask your comments and remarks, as I'm not completely satisfied with the results.
On the first one I wanted to give the impression of an "after-summer-rainstorm-afternoon" mood, and the second one wanted to be a late-summer/early-autumn dawn with fog patches.

What do you think?

I'm not exactly sure what could be improved, except that the fog placement looks a little odd and the edges can be seen. Maybe adding more detail to this, but apart from that they already look impressive.

Yepp, I thought the same, however I don't know how to change for example the density of the fog. Is there any solution for creating non uniform fog in Octane?
Thanks for your kind words!

Hello deadakos,
Very impressive rendering. Would you mind to tell what method you used for rendering?

Hello,
PMC with 8000 samples + texture environment. Rendering took about 2 hours on my setup.
Original resolution is 1600×1200 px.
Greetings

I would suggest to add more room around the building - wider images that show some of the landscapes and air that suround the building.

I like the colors and mood. Maybe some people to add the scale?

Thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely add people to the final render but I planned it after I feel it complete. In case of the second render I already started to render it from a different view point and with a little bit larger fov, as I realized that the building is too toy-like at this moment.
I will post it when it is done! :)

Thanks!

Any other mistake?

To change the density of fog just some careful tuning of the scale property of the scatter material will help. As for achieving non uniform fog you could try importing a black and white noise texture as the scatter material.

Hi all,

A new render with a quite different mood and with more space around the building.
I already found a new promising view point but I have to add a few things to the model, so more will come soon.

What do you think? Still no other suggestion? (in addition to the missing people :))
