This are the dates and sizes of the Octane.dll and Octane.dat file that I can see in the 1.20.1 x64 .zip file.

I think that the files are the same. The date difference is due to the time zones in each computer.

Thank you for your help. Do you have anything else I can try?

Yes, I want to send you a very simple plugin to test if we have a problem with the LW plugins system or with Octane ... please, allow me one or to days to make it, I am now on holidays until next week, and here I have really little time and a poor internet connection to work.

Really I want to fix your issue. I don't know what could be the problem ... the plugin has been installed in hundreds of computers without any problem, computers with Windows 7 and 8 (even XP, I think), x32 and x64, PC and OSX, and nobody reports this installation error.

Something really strange destroys the plugin installation in your computers, and I am the first one who wants to know what could be the problem. I am sure that we are going to be able to know what is the problem, but we need to make a few more tests.

Any chance to get a third computer (perhaps from a friend or in your company) to try to install it? ... If installation fail in three computers, the fact is that something is broken in your install files, or in the installation procedure.

Anyway as I say before, I want to compile a very short render engine sample plugin to test it in your computer, to know if problem is in Octane side, or in the LW plugin side.

The thing is when I brought the LW plugin in beta form, it worked just fine. Now it does not
Want to install. I will see if I could install it on another computer.

And this beta doesn't work now? ... I think that you tell me that it doesn't install, it is only to be sure.

Can you try to install the attached plugin? ... it is a very simple demo render engine, not related to Octane.

If you can install it, I am sure that problem is going to be in the Octane libs side.

If you can install it, go to renderer options and select the "dark render" as render engine to be sure that it works.

The test plugin loaded with no problems, and I was able to pick Dark Render as a renderer.
