The video card is working i can see that in the perf monitor i have and auto save is writing images to the save dir - the view port is just MIA? Tried rolling back to 1.17 same issue.

I ran updates on my Video card also everything seems to be working other than the Viewport not displaying?

Seems like a poser pro 2012 issue, i installed 2014 and the issue went away ?

View port works fine.

I still have my 2012 install running if you need any logs etc...

This looks like the same problem JeffGalloway is having. Are you using 2 monitors? Can you pls send me In C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Poser Pro\9\config.xml. You can then delete that file and you should be back up and running on PP2012.

Scripts -> Python Shell -> poser.PrefsLocation() [Enter] will give you the location of config.xml.
