I think the scattering routine is always using the first mesh, and if that mesh is deleted it is leading to a lot of problems. I will fix this in the next version. Then I deleted the mesh used for scattering and tried some more with new meshes, but I got errors.
I will implement this in the next version (assuming the API allows it).I also renamed the ID of a mesh (my example is boomveld and it makes boomveld1, boomveld2, etc..)
it would be nice to have these names to slect for the scattering?
If this happens, just rename the OBJ (not the MTL file) to be shorter. I would love to increase the limit, but it is not an easy thing to implement. When trying to save the pln I got the error a too long name for saving.
This is a bit of a pain, because it might be a lot of work in future to rename a lot of objects?
I'll try more OBj's in my library to see of this occurs a lot.
Haha - for people with a low-spec graphics card - do not try thisBelow you can see an event with 60.000 people
A lot of people went to the same store to buy their jackets

I noticed this too. I will see what I can do. It would only remember the last path until you shutdown ArchiCAD. But separate paths with CSV and OBJ would help a lot. When playing around I notice I have to go back and forth a lot to a certain path and folder to assign OBJ.s, to save csv file in another folder, and so on.
Could it be possible to remmeber the latest path for different tasks.

Quoting the release notes from the top of this thread...."- Added a material picking function (click on the viewport to get the material in the Material tab - AWESOME!). Enable material picking first on the Render tab". Is it not working for you?If material picker in OctaneRender Viewport would be possible

Hi Paul,
Do I always have to use a rectangle shape for the mesh?
When using an L-shaped mesh it also places proxies outside the shap.. another thing I noticed was that the 'outplaced' proxies are placed on the bottom height of the mesh.
greetings, Jeroen

Hi Paul,
After having having selected a Archicad object and doing some settings sometimes I cannot reselect the same Archicad object. When changing the camera a bit I can select it again.
I am having this sometimes, but now I try to replicate this error I cannot

Proxy material picking is not implemented in the version you are on, but is in the next version. Can I do this (see image)?
This is probably happening due to the offset not being set to 0, 0, 0. This should be fixed in the next version.Do I always have to use a rectangle shape for the mesh?

I hope to have the next version ready tomorrow.

Aha, that explains. Sorry.. I must have misunderstood and thought it already in this releaseface_off wrote:Proxy material picking is not implemented in the version you are on, but is in the next version. Can I do this (see image)?

Below you can see result of some practising with scattering.. love it.

PS
I'll post this image on WIP too, coz I like to ask question in general about vertical lines in perspective.

UPDATE:
I used an image for making the building with windows.
You can see the repetition of the image, when looking at the left top corner of the building.. it always starts with the same block of the texture.
Do you have any idea how to tweak this and get it more divers?
