uhmm.... now i feel a bit.... going to report back on you ;)
ok, it's working some shaders and can have problem with layers. But it's a testimonial feature at this moment. At least a tryout for helping to you.
Uv mapped shaders must be working correctly but need precomputation before rendering. Some others not works because shader input parameters as Fresnel, etc...

if it crashes while starting install is not clear. some old data causes crashes.
Check older threads, we have discussed this

Now it crashes when starting the final render (it's all right with the live render).
It's a problem related to the Render Instance check ... it doesn't crash if Render Instance is not enabled.
See the attached log.

please help

maype there is a professional Cinema user!

how can i get a Cinema model devided by materials? i just want a simple polygonobject for each material.
means to undo all the polygonselection-tags for the whole model!?
group afterwards by materials.
is there a plugin/export-way to reach this with one step?

otherwise i don`t see a "economic" way to texture my models from revit.

thx

@huebner - you have at least 2 ways to do it: 1) export obj from revit -> export options -> export by material group; 2) manually modify your scene by opening the material -> assignement -> select all objects -> go to the object tree -> right click -> merge and delete. Repeat it for all your material and you'll get as many objects as your materials number.

@aoktar - yes ... the scene attached works fine because the Render Instance check is set to off. Try to set it ON and then render to reproduce the crash. Thank you in advance. (if Render Instance is not checked... does Octane save vram anyway?)

hi andrea, no problem here with your scene, try disabling the "render perfect" option in the bubbles spheres and remember to invert the lathe nurbs and activate the "fake shadow" option in the specular materials ;)
with liquids in glass it's necessary to slightly overlap the two geometries for a correct refraction effect ;)
