the PSU is enough for the whole system : it's a 1600W. for the [email protected] and 3 titans, only need 1100W full load (CPU + GPU).
Else, you can add another PSU in parallel. I did it when I only have a 900W.

Soory I have not mentioned that the PC is NOT in my room, it's is remotly controled and it is in the garage where the temperature is about 18°C
What remote option are you using? Very interested in this.
How about building a PC in a freezer

I use RADMIN remote desktop with octane standalone or 3dsmax plugin. The client is just a small NUC with a big screen.mauricesteenbergen wrote:Hi,itou31 wrote:@smicha

yes I know and tested it, but RADMIN is a lot faster when use it on LAN. The only problem with most of remote desktop software, is that DAZ (ie octane for daz) cannot be used fully. When I work with DAZ, I should use windows remote desktop v6 and not the metro windows 8 version.

I simply made a 3 inch hole in my wall with a blend. Took extra long cable and installed the computer into another room! 8 X USB 3.0 hub for mouse, 3d mouse and other USB devices - done!
Works great since 3 Years now. And i have the "most silent" pc you can get!
Kind regards Chris!

780 seems to be close to titan (in terms of performance)

If 790 comes out 4x790 will be the beast (3gb of vram though)

Titan is about +15% performance over 780 for octane.
but the price is +50%
So I think that 780 is the best choice if 3Gb is enough.

score 4.93

No overclocking done. I understand that It's possible to OC this card a bit without making it too loud or hot. As you can see the fanspeed didn't get very high.

you should play with the 1.16, it's faster !
and yes, the 780 is fast and "cheap". you should try some overclocking....
