Transparent background

Hi all

Can someone point me in the right direction to render just teh actor with out a background in Octane, transparent background?

There are a few elements to this.....depending on if you want the ground shadows to render or not. But in summary, tick the "kernel"-"alphachannel". The Poser plugin shows some noise between the rendered objects and the alpha background, but is saves fine. Just save and then merge with your background in Photoshop/GIMP. A future versions of the plugin will allow you to load the background image into the plugin so it renders directly onto it.

If you want ground shadows to render, the process is more complex, and there are a number of threads in this forum about it.
