Hello,
I know this may sound like a noobish question, but I just cannot seem to get specular maps to work right. For instance I would like to add a wet skin overlay over my standard diffuse and bump maps. I have a seperarte WET specular map (http://www.daz3d.com/universal-wet-maps-and-orcamaid), I add it in DAZ3d but it does not translate over to the Octane render plugin although the map is correctly displayed in the skin surface tab in DAZ3d.
Can someone pls be so kind and tell me on how I can overlay my spec map within the Daz3d Octane render plugin. Thankyou

does it use a shader that is not the default daz shader? i think only the daz default shader goes over to the plugin perfectly. you can try converting the shader back to the daz default shader and see if octane picks that up.
Or you can load it up manually.

set the material to glossy. for the specular field set the type float image (or a guess image if needed). Select image file.
