hmm, I can't seem to recreate it now. I will let you know if it happens again (it was using textures for diffuse on both materials).

@Roeland : scatter objects that I switched to transparent for testing purpose (I wanted to verify the color of the mesh under the hair) were 5000 tufts of hair. It not only slowed down the render : it crashed one GPU. I haven't checked log messages... I have never done it. I will check that next time.

It would be nice to select a branch to top by double click one node.
This would speedup the rearrange of the node tree.

I also may add to face´s suggestion, the possibility to apply Materials in a similar way! This would also boost the workflow very much! Me and many others are used to that from other render Engines likey for example Keyshot or Bunkspeed.
If, for example a Material node is selected, and if i click "shift right click" in the szene with the Material picking tool, automatically the material should get connected to the selcted Part in the scene. That would be really great and efficient!

Thank you for this fantastic v1.13 ---------- Octane rocks.
Just a little wish.
Two very useful features in the graph node editor disappeared.
1/ Before, when pointing to a material, the link that connected entered highlighted.
Very usefull to find something from more than 500 nodes.
EDIT : Oups. They are. So a little more visible ? Is it possible to have the link highlighted when select a material from the material picker?
To go back to the node easier?
2/There is no more lift in the node graph editor. Super quick function with an overall view.
