This is not a problem.

The main goal is to allow placing accurately models over a background in the render screen.

The most important thing is that the background image can be loaded in the same x/y ratio as the render resolution x/y ratio. With that, it is easy to composite in any image editing software.

I have two cards: gtx580 for octane and gt520 for windows. It's strange, but 1.10 version makes my gt520 work very slow in windows (I can't watch videos for example or type text as fast as usual) despite of gtx580 is only checked as CUDA device in settings.

I gotta say the render priority isn't helping at all right now. The rest of the system is still lagging like hell :/

Did you enable the option "Use priority" in the CUDA Device settings?
