emihich, If you are talking about Multi/Sub object, it works completely with octane !

when octane viewport its open and you select hide unselected objets always max crash. 3 diferent max proyects file do it

It works fine on my end.

I have one request, can you please make it possible to use the daylight system with the environment texture, or at least add a cloud system?

Same here. I'm running max 2013 with v1.12..
I can easily reproduce it hiding a plane object with emission material.
Hiding it via layers window crashes max.

Also the shadow catcher problem has to be solved.

I am trying to reproduce this usse
Do you set movable proxy option to hiding object?
