I think that the white balance picker is too much precise because it picks (samples) one single pixel and during the progressive render in a small area there are pixels of different colors. Moving the picker of just one pixel produces different white balance results.
The white balance picker should sample a medium area and calculate an average value.

I totally agree. It's a neat feature and has to be improved.gabrielefx wrote:I think that the white balance picker is too much precise because it picks (samples) one single pixel and during the progressive render in a small area there are pixels of different colors. Currently it samples 3x3 pixels. We can increase the area, but to which size?gabrielefx wrote:I think that the white balance picker is too much precise because it picks (samples) one single pixel and during the progressive render in a small area there are pixels of different colors. It should be larger with few computed samples, when the image has less noise can be more precise.abstrax wrote:Currently it samples 3x3 pixels.
