I had the node editor open and tried to delete a node using the delete key. Instead of deleting the node it deleted the selected figure in DS. Did this a couple of times before I got into the habit of using the right click menu to delete. Just thought you should know.

from my pov its a bit questionable design of ds - it reads keys bevore any other application. means keys not explicitly captured by another window/pane will always do whatever their main function in ds is. if you select a node an press delete in the viewport, it gets deleted not because the plugin handles it, but because still ds reads the key press.
i agree, to keep at least the delete key from doing this would be a pretty good idea

i will map the delete key to specific functions of the plugin (mat tab = delete material, nge = delete node, viewport = same behavior, but probably managed by the plugin itself).
other useful keys: post them here

Keep in mind one of the great things about using the plugin with Daz Studio is that you now have an undelete/undo option that does not exist in the standalone.

but, um, only for any studio related type of changesTugpsx wrote:Keep in mind one of the great things about using the plugin with Daz Studio is that you now have an undelete/undo option that does not exist in the standalone.

changing octane parameters or material changes, node deletions/inserts/connection changes, whatever, still has no undo (or even redo). it is to some extent prepared, but still needs a lot work to get finally implemented. it though might happen that the ds plugin will have it before the standalone
