Working on the Nostromo from Alien, Been at it some time. Loving the output from Octane. But having some issue with creating materials and having the scale properly on my models exported from Sketchup.

Nice lighting. If I may offer a suggestion or two, The square pattern on the ship looks too generated. The randomness seems two computery. i would suggest a lot more variations of surfaces. Also keep an eye on edges. sharp crisp edges are a dead give away for cg models. Also you composition is working well. You shot with a telephoto lens so you might want to adding some fog to the scene. Atmospherics would help sell the idea that this is a massive ship. Over all its a great start... just keep adding detail...a craft of this size, you can never have enough detail.

Thanks for the input, I'm playing around with the fog now.

This one feels a lot like concept art for a movie...

Playing around with a few things, rounding out the geometry, playing with fog... all around having a good time... Still cant seem to get those awesome streaks in the fog though...
