I deleted all Mental ray nodes and was able to get it to work

Yes. It was changed after this version, as not having the unique ID of Maya objects causes a lot of bugs. It was discussed a lot of times already (e.g. HERE)...renmaxhb wrote:BUt it can be render at 2.58p or before!

jimstar - this only happens on the odd occasion but my scale in the maya render settings for Octane sometimes goes to 1.0 at render even though i set it to 0.1 I started locking the attribute to 0.1 but I have just checked a render that was started from the command line and it wasn't looking right - when i opened up the scene in maya i see the scale is at 1.0 and attribute locked still but it should be 0.1 ??? I know I set it right because I had already been rendering this scene without issues.

Is it possible to let maya read a .ocs file?
Because I really like the standalone version of octane, itwould be great if you can export the settings from the standalone version to the maya version for rendering of an sequence.
