I like that simple scene, but for me looks flat.
I think that you should add some other filling lights with low power and low color temperature, maybe one that faces diagonally the sofa just to enhance its imperfections and contours, another to the right part to give a color contrast, you can try either by increasing the HDR power to increase the light to the left part (or just adding a plane with high temperature color at the left part)
...hope not to have suggest bullshits

Here's another view.
So thanks for your suggestions.
We're basically trying to accomplish decent renders with HDRI in Ambient Occlusion mode for movie purposes. I could say I'm quite satisfied

I really like the second images.
The first images was 30 min render time, which, and how many gpus did you use?

Another quick exterior test with forestpack grass with glossy material.
AO mode.
Render time around 10 minutes.
Seems like the way to go for animation

maybe you should raise the diffuse bounce.
Are you sure about it? Color bleeding in AO mode sounds new to me.. I'll test it as I get homeosmose wrote:nice but the right wall should be more green with color bleeding.wastzzz wrote:Another quick exterior test with forestpack grass with glossy material.
