Should I be worried?
Especially with post-processing this is an issue.
I am using gtx 590.
Noise is coming from GPU.

Nice job guys !!! Continues to this way !!!

I'll be an ungrateful bastard and ask three small GUI improvements here (not worth opening a separate thread, imo):
1.) Disable changing values with the mouse wheel in the node inspector or make it "modifier" + mouse wheel. The fact that the wheel scrolls NI and changes slider values at the same time, makes it unusable, because you can never know when you'll accidentally change something while scrolling. I seriously doubt that users are accustomed to moving sliders / changing values with the wheel, so this functionality is not needed and just gets in the way.
2.) A swap x <-> y button in the resolution tab. I find myself switching between landscape and portrait resolutions very often, when searching for good shots. Currently the process is to disable aspect ratio, change x, change y, enable aspect ratio. This process could be faster if we had a button that would just swap x & y values of the resolution.
3.) Native file browser dialog. The Octane file browser is quite limited - it doesn't show image previews, you cant sort file lists, you cant add custom default paths... couldn't Octane just use system native file browser?

+1 or introduce similar solution that is present in 3ds max - place cursor on a value, hold LMB and drag mouse up or down to change values.matej wrote:I'll be an ungrateful bastard and ask three small GUI improvements here (not worth opening a separate thread, imo):

I am grateful too, but I agree with what Matej said :
I would also like to say that the copy value feature would be faster if we could copy the value pointed by the cursor directly without having to left-click before selecting copy with the right button or typing Ctrl-C (like in Blender). Direct copy of a color instead of 3 RGB values would be helpful and faster too.
+1 ! I always found the current behaviour dangerous. I sometimes destroyed a shader by accident because of this thing !1.) I agree too. Even if the best would be undo supports to avoid mistakes.
I have just had one hour free to test quickly the new Daylight system and post-pro : Very nice !
With my Cubix Box with dedicated 750W for my two GPUs, I noticed no weird noise (post pro features enabled). The two GTX 580 3GB are running at 98-99%, and their behaviour seems to be normal.
