Well, not much time for this project these days. However, it still grows slowly. grass will be added at the end. I am placing green parks to minimize the amount of buildings ! I still have to model many of them ! I have to fill the background !

The texture of the fountain will stay procedural until I will know if I can do everything with the available number of textures. I will probably group all non tileable texture on few big images at the end.

Latest ones look great ROUBAL ! I like it very much, but can you try to make the trees more "alive" or something? Also the bushes.
They seem out compared to the rest. But the rest is excellent!

Cheers.

Yes, I totally agree. In fact, I moved this project into the gallery, because it is a WIP for so many months due to the huge project.

All the vegetation is temporary. I did the trees and bushes very fast. The bushes are only subdivided boxes with real displacement. They don't allow very close up views...

The current vegetal objects are more place holders and templates to test the instances and evaluate the required memory amount.

I am modelling and modelling... I have many buildings to add yet, but in order to make the project alive, I render each time i find a new interesting point of view in the growing set ! ;)

New bushes with real leaves instead of simple blocks with displacement. It costs almost 100 MB more on the VRAM... I am not sure that it is worth it when they are not seen in close up.

New view of the main avenue.
