Hi,
I`m new happy user of OCTANE, and below are my first images mady with Sketchup + Octane + GIMP (small correction)
Images rendered as 1600 pix in long side with DL4 kernel about 2-3 hours each on 3xGTX670 4GB, night shots were rendered 4x bigger and resized
(I`m very surprised reading about your impressive images rendered so fast - I think I`m doing something wrong).

very good!

some images are good and few need different optics
The pool water is fake....use a different bump

the wood floor has excessive bump map

for exterior depth of field must be at infinite except you have a near object near the camera, otherwise
the building looks like a toy.

For interior you can play with DOF and bokeh effects....try to roll the camera, it gives more dynamic to the image.

the best images are:

04 outdoor
04 indoor
11 indoor
quad Titan Kepler 6GB + quad Titan X Pascal 12GB + quad GTX1080 8GB + dual GTX1080Ti 11GB

I like them too, maybe some more warmth / lower temperatures in the feature lighting in the dusk images

and maybe some which aren't square..

but yes, those planes are ace, textures look fine to me
workstation well past its sell-by-date, Vista 64 bit (!) with a pitiful amount of RAM, re-invigorated with a GX 590

3ds Max Design 2011 (have 2013 but can't be bothered to re-do all the UI), CS5, and that free z-brush program, whatever it's called

impressive ssokol, really a great job.
I like the "eye" of Gabrielefx that catched the "imperfection" of the wood floor; the only "bad" thing that I can see is the visible tiling effect in and out the swimming pool (ext03a, ext01a) and a sort of "incorrect" illumination in the "01b" shot.
Did you used some faking ligths for the various shots? (in the "06b", on the top cabinet, seems to be visible the reflection of two sphere emitters, is it right?).
It is possible to know more about the kind of illumination that you used?.

Thanks and cheers, Paolo

Hi guys
thanks for comments,
I have the same lights (no fake lights) for each night shot; it is HDRI outside, spotlights are IES, light bulbs and lights in the kitchen under cabinets as blackbody, thats all.

cheers, Stan

I have a question, how much video ram did the first scene take up?
