Just for the record, for sake of input =) I say NO.
& if You interested why, here I'll explain a bit =)
First of all..if You want to feed 7x cards, You probably, just because of conectivity, would have to go for Xeons on the CPU side =) here's the first problem: they are pricy & 'slow', 'cause Octane Render is curently act really pathetic on voxelisation.. So basically Your high priced part that run somewhat slower than i5/i7 is going to bottle-neck Your whole system (cheaper hogher clocked i5 would probably beat them easily)
..not so long ago I've read in this forum that even HyperThreading slows down voxelisation..
so long talk short: 7cards ~> Xeons ~> to slow for the price..
Second reason is the price. For 1k On case would expect it & overall rig to look at least that good:

And if You have ans know how to handle some tools Youd probably could do some pipe'ing and routing cooling for that price not only case mods..
Thirdly..if You don't want to mess and make Your hands dirty here's probably the best solution i've found to date & it's called CaseLabs
http://www.caselabs-store.com/ - You can choose from a lot of different base options and then actually modify these before purchuasing for You own needs.
The price is right for what they deliver (if You need these could even be flat packed - that might be a bit cheeper if You want to send overseas.=)
All in all..even if those 4cards are not enough for You, the company that I mention makes dual cases - for two boards =) and if.. For any reasons..power hungry cards or simply redundancy..You can put even four or more power bricks..
So with all this in mind, I probably explained why from me it's NO =)
But! But! But!
If You manage to make One =)
please, do share Your outcome in this forum!
Cheers.
