this release seems incredibly stable... I can't find bugs..

i7 3770K, 12GB RAM, ASUS STRIX GTX 780 - 6GB OC Edition + ASUS GTX 780 Ti - 3GB, win 7 ultimate 64bit
I know that, but it will increase amount of poly for nothing, cause i not only have no needs to edit that mesh but also prefer to edit it in linegueoct wrote:No bug. Just apply EditMesh modifier.awsjolie wrote:Hey Karba, there's a bug with line in rendering.

This issue does not exist in the past
??? What do you think 3dsmax is doing when you apply a thickness to a line? it creates polys...awsjolie wrote:I know that, but it will increase amount of poly for nothing, cause i not only have no needs to edit that mesh but also prefer to edit it in line
so the polys are there anyway, if you apply an EditMesh or not
You can still edit the line as line just put the EditMesh modifier on top of your stack,
so that Octane recognizes the thickness of the line. Easy!

It´s true. This issue exists since version beta 3.00d... in V 2.58f it was still working without tricking!awsjolie wrote:This issue does not exist in the past
Intel i7-970 @3,20 GHz / 24 GB RAM / 3 x EVGA GTX 580 - 3GB
Im not sure abt this... but when you have a line and choosing EditMesh in Modifier list or convert the line into Editable Mesh, 3dsmax will recognize its a Mesh with lots of additional polys. You can see this at Statisticsgueoct wrote:???
