Shadow Catcher Material?

Is there a way or a material available in octane that can catch an object's shadow without a visible ground plane? Thx.

As well as Shadow Caster only and Materials without shadows for cylindrical or spherical background !
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

Is it *THAT* difficult to increase the alpha of the pixel each time it receives the photon?...

I don't think it is hard to embed

Now that instancing is ready and the optimisation for kepler is almost done there is time for important features like this:
shadow catcher material, sunlight through glass and motion blur. Lets hope it comes soon.
