anyone else has this problem: I cannot attach a scale node to a turbulence texture scale, nor can i attach input pins to the scale or the power node.

any ideas?

cheers,
ello

ps: seems to have something to do what nodes where attached to the inputs before.. i recreated the texture generator and i works. strange...
another issue: i recreated the texture generator and added a scale node with float3 type. now i created an input pin to that scale and what happens? the input pin is float and cannot be changed to float3....

Can you post a screen shot of your node graph?

A turbulence texture node has a transform input, which can have a scale node, a rotation node or a transform node attached. By default it will be a scale node. A scale node has a single input pin where you can connect a float, float2 or float3. You cannot connect this float node directly to the transform input of the turbulence node.

I think the build you are thinking about may come out on monday. there is a different thread somewhere that says they couldn't get it out today.
