Very nice, I would love to see some tutorials on this kind of render.
For example, I have big trouble to light a grass in a proper way to achieve similar life like render.

thank you. I did it with forest pack. It isn´t very usefull at this time, forest pack has not support for octanerender, so you have to do trick (convert all forestpack objects to instances with forest tools http://www.itoosoft.com/forestpack/reference/tools.php ). It take a lot of vram! :roll:

At this time we have support for multiscatter, i have tested it, work very well.
You can find tutorials on itoosoftware´s website for forest pack and R&D group for multiscatter.

For good 3d vegetation you have to study real nature, how it works. My advice for you ;)
