I will soon test those emitters... Rendered a personnal project with previous release without problems, but emitters were not so important...it was an exterior day scene!!!

Great news ! Thank you very much. I'll Try it asap !

Hi,
am using Octane licensed beta 2.44 with Blender 2.63 & exporter.....no problems yet, but want to upgrade to 3.01.
Couldn't find instructions in FAQ, forum search, or 2.57 pdf about upgrading.
Do I just un-install 2.44, install 3.01, put in login info?
Also upgrading my NVIDIA drivers.
Thanks!

Is there a way to randomize Color (HUE, SAT and VAL) of Textureimage used for a Scatter-Node ?
And if yes, is it also possible to randomize UV-Values for Objects of Scatter-Node ?
This would be very usefull to create colorvariations into grass or doing some nice parquet floors.
In Cycles this works pretty good already, see here (post #13):
http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthr ... of-Mapping
Or another example in german here:

Kind regards

Some random variation would be rather nice. Especially for grass and the like.
Megacal - yes, just replace you 2.44 programs with 3.01. Or if you want to be cautious then change Blender to point at the 3.01 runtime rather than the 2.44. No need to update logins or anything like that.

Yes, we can add a feature like that. I will put it on our TODO list.Alain wrote:Is there a way to randomize Color (HUE, SAT and VAL) of Textureimage used for a Scatter-Node ?
