I have question for you
Have someone tried to get some nice looking caustics from water, glass material on the other objcet surface?
I ask you cause, I heard the best way is to use strong light from hdri, is there any other way?
Cheers!

The more dynamic range you have, the more bright the sun will be versus the other pixelsCaustics are best obtained with a strong, small light source like the sun or a similar HDRI file
Check out Peter Guthrie (google for it) he sell really high dynamic range HDRI images, perfect for shadows and caustics (and perfect for architectural visualization)
