It looks like when setting transmission to 1.0 in a diffuse material light does not "refract" properly and results in a dark material. Specular material transmission has this issue as well.
This seems to have happened in version 3.04.3 as 3.04.0 does not have this issue. I reset octane sops, shops, and render nodes between switching versions, but maybe I'm missing something.
Thanks Juanjo and the rest of the team.

Yes, this problem was introduced with 3.04.1 and will be fixed with 3.04.4 which is being built right now.nktrrz wrote:It looks like when setting transmission to 1.0 in a diffuse material light does not "refract" properly and results in a dark material. Sorry, I should have included a sample scene. But I think I can wait for 3.04.4.juanjgon wrote: Sorry, I think that I can't reproduce this problem here. Can you attach a sample scene with this issue?

Thanks for the quick reply guys.
Hi, I think this might be the same bug but just in case:
I'm having different results with hair transmission from previous builds.
Thanks
