Re: Venetian castle
Great looking work. Quite busy it looks.
A lot of work, I surmise.
Kudos.

Re: Photographic exposure control on camera
Hi,
I suggest that all those things are there.
I'm sure you've found shutter speed and aperture. ISO is a little weird but I think exposure and gamma work well in that regard.
A little programming and you can put these in an easy to control gadget.
The apps probably have one written; the stand ...

Re: How Can I Learn Octane?
Practice is your best bet.
Setting up experimental scenes, many, in a day, changing one thing at a time until you understand the result on the scene.
All you read is best used. After copious usage, then your theoretic thought has fodder to feed on.

It took 3 attempts for it to stick, for me.
I didn't follow the procedure of quitting and restarting on at least one of the attempts.
Or, as happened for me, on the third try, I deleted the menus and re-added them: everything showed up.

Re: We want buy second octane + plugin
I'm curious: why not just buy a license?
I mean, I can understand trying to catch the disgruntled during this lull for cheaper price, I guess...

Re: LightWave 2018 is coming ;)
Wondering: will 2015 presets, nodes and all, for Octane work with 2018?
Logically, I want to say yes, but that's from a non-programmer perspective: the nodes aren't different for what goes to Octane so shouldn't be diff, right?
Naive, I know, that's why the question.
