I would really like the ability to control exposure like you do with a camera on the cg-camera in Octane (Shutter speed, ISO and Aperture).
Could be a simple solution like an 'override / use photographic exposure' checkbox.

I suggest that all those things are there.
I'm sure you've found shutter speed and aperture. ISO is a little weird but I think exposure and gamma work well in that regard.
A little programming and you can put these in an easy to control gadget.
The apps probably have one written; the stand-alone, maybe go ask in the programming area...
