Re: vray converter
Hey J.C,
thank you for your answer. Ok, that is a workaround.
But why is there only a vray-converter in 3ds max and not in the other octane plugins? People have to use vray-model-presets there aswell right?
Greetings

Re: moving from 3ds max to C4D
Hey Beppe,
thank you for your answer. That sounds promising. I will test it as soona s it's available... Do you know when that would be?
Also I've got another question: Is there a material converter in Octane for C4D that converts Vray-materials into Octane materials? I mean corresponding to the ...

Re: export octane materials / moving from 3ds max to C4D
Hey Paride,
thank you for your answer, I will try your way later, sounds very good. I'm sure that was, what I was looking for.
Yes, I will also go ahead and ask in the C4D forum, but thought maybe someone who is currently working also with 3ds max could compare

Re: Problem with hiding light emitters
Hi Paride,
thank you for sending the scene. I tested it. It worked although the opacity of your materials was set to 1 and the error only occurs if the opacity is set to 0 and the scene was simple with small small light sources.
As you suggested, I imported my geometry and camera from my scene ...

Hi HHbomb,
I already tried this but I tested it in the scene with the lights again after your suggestion. Unfortunately the error remains the same
