Wanted to give this a try with the MacBook Pro 13" M1 and installed standalone and plugin (both Enterprise) just like I used to:
Plugin is not even loading with R23. C4D starts fine, but without loading the plugin or giving any errors. Like the plugin wasn't even there.

While moving one object, all other objects that have materials with texture displacement disappear in live viewer. Wo'nt reappear until the live viewer is restarted or the scene is resent alltogether.

Yeah, I can confirm it's indeed related to power usage. All running fine with extra power through an external PSU. Problem solved!
That Denoiser is quite a beast... Drawing almost twice the amount of power compared to "regular" rendering, as far as I could see in iStat Menus.
Better get yourself ...

The Denoiser crashes on two identical machines (MacPro5,1 - 2x GTX 1080), but only if both GPUs are enabled for rendering or if the image resolution exceeds a certain amount.

That didn't work... It's the same with Standalone 4RC6, im afraid. I can get the Denoiser only to work with tiny resolutions.

we did some test renders with the new build today and noticed that our renders always stopped after 40 - 70 frames, when we had a denoiser pass activated. If we turn off the denoiser pass everything rendered fine, no problem. The log showed the denoiser cuda error. Are we missing ...
