PR7 keeps crashing on macOS version 11.1 and PR5 doesn't work either.
Did you guys test PR7 works fine on 11.1?

We did QA here and in closed beat - what set up are you running?
Demo and prime versions are in progress.Weezer wrote:Is there a way we can test this in demo mode? I don't want to resubscribe only to find it still doesn't work.

It also doesn't work for me, says there is a heap allocation error.
I have a Mac mini 2018 i7, 32GB RAM, Radeon VII eGPU on macOS 11.1 Big Sur.
edit: forgot to mention that this is on starting C4D - it doesn't even get to the splash screen.

Can you test PR7 standalone (posting shortly) to see if the same issue happens outside of C4D?plasmapeppers wrote:It also doesn't work for me, says there is a heap allocation error.

Ok with the PR 7 Standalone it works as expected - and its definitely faster! I suspect the crashing might have something to do with code signing as the PR7 DMG + the App bundle were not signed properly - had to override, and so it might be that the Cinema 4D version isn't giving me the chance to override and is just crashing. Just speculation though.
