Had this problem a couple of times, somehow Nvidia made one of my cards not eligible for cuda performance.
I solved it in the Nvidia Control Panel (accessed by right click in the desktop):

I´m building a new computer to render with Octane+C4D and compose the output in AE, with heavy emphasis in gpu power for Octane.
