Paquito has shown on many occasions what is possible with DL. I am always impressed with the speed-quality ratio he achieves with this approach. DL is always good for iterative work, but if we can use it for production, so much the better.

I agree with glimpse and I would add one thing...
The renders seems a bit noisy, maybe you should let it render for a little longer? unless you wanted the noise to add a ''photographic'' element to your picture.
What was your settings? path tracing? how many samples? anyway good job man!

It's certainly your video card. I have a gtx 670 and it's not even buttery smooth with the 3ds max plugin.
