Re: Learning about water cooling 780 Ti cards

So I guess there's no intermediate solution other than going for a full watercooling solution then?

Re: NVIDIA Chameleon

Thanks, yes some sub-surface scattering would really help to sell the small scale of the character. I might revisit that if I get time. I didn't solve the displacement issue in the end, I just used a higher resolution mesh and then a normal map.

Re: Learning about water cooling 780 Ti cards

So You get 240 RAD with in with fans, then PUMP/RES combo, from here TUBE should go to GPUs (water blocks). After those I’d put 360 RAD (3x120mm) on ceilings. Mounting fans on top of the frame will give You a possibility to mount quite thick radiator bellow. From this top mounted RAD TUBE would go ...

Re: Learning about water cooling 780 Ti cards

Thanks so much of all the effort guys, the solutions look great, will have a thorough read through and start costing things up, all makes sense so far though.

smicha - yeah totally with you on the 4xTitanZ thing, I think what we'd do is as we'll likely be getting a couple more machines early next ...

Learning about water cooling 780 Ti cards

Starting a new thread so not to just hijack rappet's thread ( http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=43119 )

We are regularly using 3 machines with a total of 11x 780 Ti SC cards with Octane. We were regularly getting overheating problems so used the EVGA precision software to throttle ...

Yeah I'll start a new topic, sorry for the hijack rappet!

I can't take the credit for the component selection, ASyme1 helped me with the build options :)
