Re: Cycles to Octane material converter add-on
Anyone know how we can get this to work in 2.83? I cannot find the addon once installed.

Re: ORBX export problem
I'm having difficulty also - there is no file created in the output folder when "Export Scene - ORBX" is selected & "render animation" is run.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Sigh - I guess it is time to give up on this one
Mods feel free to delete.
FYI - Unable to test using WIP submission due to freezing on "Queued for Processing" - so multiple uploads here.

Well, as it is not viewing correctly mods feel free to delete this. Possibly because it is not clear on the upload form whether you are uploading a cubemap or equi-rectanglar image

What's the difference?
I can already render panoramic scenes using the Octane Blender plugin - why do I need OctaneVR, what's the difference?
If I want to use Octane "2.23" which is now called "OctaneVR" - does that mean my current standalone/plugin licenses are void of further updates?
Is is me or is this situation ...

Re: ArchiVIZ
Love these!
The modelling, textures, materials are fantastic.
Maybe a wider shot & more detailed background for context might add some story. One thing that draws the eye is the confusing texture on the 2nd roof; it is not immediately clear what material the tiles are.

Stunning! Great visuals; really fantastic stuff. I'd usually get bored with visualisations but the design was beautiful and kept me interested all the way through. Nice one!

Re: PERPECTIVE CAMERA IS BLACK
Do you mean clipping distance? I have the same problem and the clipping distance is fine.
EDITED: "Distance" under "Autofocus" should not be 0, for anyone else that has this problem.

Re: Have I missed anything?
Having used both for both commercial and non-commercial work; I love Cycles, but is not comparable to Octane render in terms of speed or quality.
I look at a lot of Archviz and the best Cycles renders, by experienced users, have not come close to the best Octane renders in terms of photo-realism ...
