Hi everybody,
I want to show you my entry for the Blender Guru's competition.

The title is "Waiting for the last train"

This is the most complex work in term of texturing I ever done, hope you like it.
Done in blender & octane.

Nice pic !
Where does the background come in ? For example is the grass from a picture or actual geometry ?

The grass on the left is a photo, on the right are textures mapped on planes. The grass textures were made in blender with the particle sistem and then rendered with an alpha background.

wow - that looks really, really nice. just throw a little more light in the direction of the lonely tin man - he deserves it :)
(a photographer would uses some sort of reflector for such lighting conditions :)
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply
