Could someone paste here final render jpg with information about poly count, render time and CUDA count? Everyone tells that is fast but i can`t realize how fast is it. I would like get few different render with that information. I think that would get helpfull informations for that persons who wanna buy it soon (like me). I am Modo user and i would like to compare it with my render, to do it well i should know how big scene is, what is time of render and how much i should spent on my gpu cuda power to get that result (count of CUDA cores).
Now i am very interested in buying GTX 590 (i`ve already had 1 x gtx295 which would gave me summary 1500 CUDA cores).
EDIT: Maybe you should show me render time with time of loading scene becouse i have heard that is more time cost than rendering. So maybe: xx minutes of loading scene + xx minutes of render becouse it will show me how long will i wait for final effect.
Render time, CUDA cores count and poly count

I'm sure there'll be many people that'll gladly comply to your request, yet in the meantime you could check the wip and gallery forums, where you can see thousands of examples, many of those they even add wip captures of octane with all the data you want to know, plus they give times and such, also don't forget past competitions where every single images is explain, and check the users signature to see what GPU they where using for those. Have fun, there is lots of awesome renders to stare for hours, and sure more than one are close to what you are planning to render.

Thx, i`ve already watched your gallery but in many cases there is no render time and load scene time. I would like to see few examples with that data (grouped) becouse i only know what hardware people has got and no idea how long it takes in their cases and everybody knows that time is money (time = watt consumption = money). Excuse me, if i post that question in wrong place...
The voxelizing process is pretty fast, specially with the last build, we are talking seconds, at least as long as you have enough ram (I've read somewhere that you need something like 4xVram to fit a whole scene and don't use swap memory in your HD). The rendering times are linear, see how much time you have with x gpu and using the number of cores and speed you can calculate how much will take with another gpu. The best thing you can do is test it yourself with the demo (or if you don't have a cuda gpu try it in a friend's house) with one of your scenes, for proper export settings check out this thread http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=21&t=362. As I said the last build is much faster loading than the demo, but yet you can see how fast would be in your system with your scenes.
