Hi
I'm doing tests with one Zotac GTX580 1.5GB + one Gainward GTX580 3.0GB in the same system (Intel dual exacore Xeons)

Well, after 13 hours of rendering the first GPU, connected to the monitor, stopped to work, the GPU 2 (the Gainward) continued to run.

Why????

I monitored the temperature all the day. The Gainward receive the air on the side and have an heatpipe heatsink with two fans. The temperature was 60/65°C

The Zotac receive the air on the back and the monitored temperature was about 88°C

Do you think that the GTX580 bios can stop the calculation or is an Octane bug?

Hi,

Were you using the computer at that moment? A lot of applications, including browsers, use the GPU and may cause Octane to run out of memory on that GPU.
