I have noticed something interesting while trying the different kernels.
We all know that PMC will require more time to reach lets say 16000pixels compared to pathtracing but the image will have less noise and be ready actually earlier compared to Pathtracing.
The thing i noticed is that when im rending with Pathtracing im almost unable to use my PC(gpu) for simple tasks like browsing skype etc...when im using PMC im almost "fine" or i should say the performance outside of Octane is maybe 3x-4x times better. Does this means that PMC is not stressing my GPU at maximum compared to Pathtracing meaning that it could to BETTER if fully stressed? My external monitor apps show that my GPU is used 98-99% regardless if PMC or Pathtracing but in reality there is huge difference. Did anyone notice this?
Pathtracing vs PMC outside of Octane.

In addition to my previous post i have a question about the rrprob (russian roulette probability) for earlier termination.
Setting that parameter to 0.001 increased my rendering speed exactly 3x times with PMC! from 1.37ms/s i get 3.7ms/s . The only difference in the image is that the indirect illuminated areas are a tad darker ...and that i can fix without problem with 1 click in photoshop -> Shadows and Highlights. Am i missing something else?

yes i noticed the same. PMC leaves my GUI much more responsible.

With 2.48 or 49, the PT kernel was optimized, the PMC kernel is the first one.
