Hello I'm new to octane but I found some issues in using the free blender addon test version (thanks for making it :D ).

1. I can't get adaptive sampling to work no matter what I do. This could just be skill issue but from everything I research it seems it should "just work", but for me it has no effect, even if I put the value stupidly high like 0.5 threshold.
2. The "menu switch" node is turned off in the shader editor. This makes it so you can't use the "menu" socket type, which enables you to create drop downs for node groups. It seems like if the node was simply enabled it would solve this issue, since octane already seems to support socket inputs.

Thanks for reading.

First issue is solved by updating the plugin version.

Second issue isn't solved but I found a workaround just now:

1. Add a new input socket on the group and select the "menu" type.
2. Drag a new connection from the new socket and release mouse. In this dialog you are able to select the "menu switch" node.

Another workaround is to simply switch the renderer, add a menu switch, then go back to octane renderer lol!
