Hello,
I've recently upgraded to Octane 2026.1 build 1.8.1. I'm using Cinema 4D 2023. RTX 3090. Using the latest NVDIA creator drivers. Tried a clean reinstall of the drivers, but this doesn't help. Whenever I go to render anything in the live viewer, I get a crash with this message:
OptiX API error: Unsupported ABI version.
Has anyone else encountered this?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
First of all, please upgrade to 2026.1-v1.8.2 version:
https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloads/plugins/d6/98/5b/36/OctaneRender_Studio%2B_2026.1_for_Cinema4D_v1.8.2.exe
Then please use the following Nvidia tool:
https://developer.nvidia.com/cleanup-tool
Then please perform a clean installation of 591.74 Nvidia Studio driver:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/260362/
After rebooting, try again with the same scene and report back, thanks.
ciao,
Beppe
