render region to disk ?

Hi all,

I'm pretty sure this has already been asked, but I can't find where.

Is there a way to render regions to disk ? Not with ipr ?
And when render is launched with batch file script without opening houdini (win11 here) ?

PS : DOF must stay consistent with full frame rendering.

4 days and no response. Not as easy as I thought ?

I seem to remember it was very obvious with octane for lightwave (maybe my memory lacks, lightwave is far away).

So no one knows how to render region with octane and houdini ? Or am i asking something so obvious that nobody wants to respond ?


I have a bunch of fixed High res images to render for my production and only parts of them changes. So render region is needed. PLEASE !!!!

Sorry for the delay in response, the Houdini team is out on Holiday until tomorrow!
That being said you can set the render region on the camera node using the screen window xy controls.
