Hi There,
I cannot get Motionblur to work as it should.
Camera follows (is attached) an object which flys through a landscape.
Object should be completly sharp but the landscape should get camera motion blur.
Whatever I try, always the object gets blurred as well.
(Have a octane tag with MB disabled)
What I'm doing wrong here?
Maybe someone can have a look at this simple test scene please!
Thanks

Hi,
I changed the following settings;
I also changed the frame range, and continue motion so the animation will start generating motion blur data from f-50, even though rendering starts at f0. In the previewed frames it seems to be working as expected.
I changed the following settings;
Code: Select all
Octane render settings:
Time sampling p Frame -> 1
Camera tag:
Alignment-> Center
Object Tag:
Motion data -> Transform

Hi Tim,
thanks for your reply!
Atm I try to find out what the decisive, most importent change was, from all the changes you made.
The crazy thing is that I have now put all the settings back to my original ones - and it still works!
(no Preview-Frames, MB Aligment back to "before", Time sampling back to 5, Pathtracer-mode .... still works as it should!)
???
So in my orininal scene I will first setup everything like you did - and if it works I'll set it then back again to my old settings.
I will see! Strange anyway!
Thank very much!
Mike
