Hello,
I'm working on a computer with two RTX 5080 but it seems that Octane doesn't recognize them ( Octane v15.13, Geforce driver studio 565.90), are the RTx 50XX not supported yet ?

I keep having "Octane3dsmax.dlr > failed to initialize - error code 127" trying to install the Beta 16.02 or 16.03, I tried the last Geforce driver and the version 576.12 too without luck

interesting.. - they pointed about build based on core that includes support, so I assumed the support is there already.
Will try this in a day or two myself (finally the new card coming). Sorry for wrong pointers..

the error comes when I launch Max, I think it's not related to the RTX 5080, it seems more of a Driver or installation issue, but I tried several Nvidia Drivers and reinstalled Octane several times too

I'll try on my end today, to see how it goes with new card.
All right, thanks Tom, let me know

I'm not sure what's up.. - I managed to start rendering, but some weird issues happening with 3ds Max (not sure if that is plugin or 3ds Max itself caused). Left a question for devs and in a meantime will try to reinstall, update host app or even the machine.. as I never seen such issues.. (also happens with 4090, but not sure if that is because 5090 is present, but not activated..)

Could you try the latest version ? : 2025.1 - 16.04 :
viewtopic.php?t=84687
As the note for the Stand Alone versions says (viewtopic.php?t=84667) :
The minimum NVIDIA driver version required has been raised to R528 (R572 for GeForce RTX50 Series).
See also the Render settings / Devices tab (16.04) for the Driver version info..
Could you also try with 3dsMax 2024, not 3dsMax 2025 (as there is a known issue of occasional freeze..)
Thanks

Good day,
I just did that and it works fine so far from what I see - haven't had a crash yet, while with previous version, at least in my case, seemed not being usable.
indeed, I was (and still am) on the latest studio driver (572.83)
sure if needed/if that would help, I can install older version and test on that as well (let me know please). For now though, will try to play around with latest version.
Thank You, @neonZorglub
