Hello

When using Shade Auto Smooth (the smooth by angle modifier), with a toon material and a vertex displacement on it, the displacement looks broken.

However it looks fine when used with "Shade Smooth".

I'm using:
- OctaneRender for Blender 2024. 1.2 - 29.18 [STABLE]
- MacOS Sequoia 15.2 - Apple M3 Max

Maybe it's normal but better reporting in case it's not.

Thank you ! 8-)

No, that's not a bug.

Just add a Set Shade Smooth in Edge mode to the geonodes you're using to generate the edges.

Vertex Displacement is not even needed if you're using an Extrude Mesh node, which produces a better result.
