Hi there,
I have a really basic question that I can't seem to figure out how to answer via google or YT. I'm trying to make a string of virtual christmas lights to hang on neuron branches (for science!).
I've managed to create lights on a spline (and yes I know they look horrible, open to tips esp how to hang it on an actual neuron) but I can't figure out how to evenly space the lights, which are spheres within octane scatter. I couldn't get scatter to work on a spline but an old reddit thread said sweep the spline then it can distribute objects, which worked, though not sure this is the ideal way.
Attached find how the lights currently look. So uneven that they don't even look like lights! Any help appreciated. I can upload the project file if anyone would find that helpful, it's pretty large at 2.4GB.

Appreciate any help.
Appreciate any help.
Hi,
sorry, I cannot have a look at the scene at the moment, but my suggestion is to switch from Octane Scatter to C4D MoGraph Cloner in Multi Instance mode, and with Display set to Point.
It works very well with splines.
ciao,
Beppe
